Keefer's

You can rarely go wrong with ordering a burger from a steakhouse. Let’s face it…those chefs know how to handle their meat, and likely they are also using a proprietary blend of meat too - if not blending in actual cuts of steak to round out the flavor - which is exactly the case with this delectable little treat.

The other value bonus gained from a steakhouse is that they know how to cook to your requested doneness. The Fiend prefers his burgers rare, and more often than not they come out prepared medium to medium rare, which can be fine but is not really optimal.

Needless to say, this burger came out extremely pink in the center, much to the shock and dismay of my burgering cohorts at the table. And the taste is exactly the quality you’d expect from a white-cloth napkin establishment as well: rich, velvety and perfectly spiced.

Over the years, Keefer’s has always delivered, so if you’re looking for a fantastic lunch or dinner option that won't cost you steakhouse prices, give ‘em a chance.
